Headphones on for this one. I gave myself a break from miniature wargames and built this model robot music box kit my wife gave me for Christmas. It was a mildly challenging build since most of my models don't have moving parts. However,  I was thrilled to get all of the moving parts spinning like they are supposed to turn.

I got a game in with Jim from the FLGS I used to co-own and brought my White Scars for a change. One of the models I recently added was the Invictor Tactical Warsuit - one of my favorites in the new Primaris line of Space Marines.  Even with only one game under its belt, I think this beast needs some weathering and badging. I've got the 'ol White Scars icon on the shoulder, but I need some red scars to break up these white panels. 

I've stripped most of my White Scars army and I was going to repaint them as something else, perhaps as parts of my Space Wolves or as Mantis Legion. After talking with a friend and frequent opponent, he convinced me to stick with Scars for a couple of reasons: 1. He always thought that they were "my army." When Dusty was showing up to a tourney, he was bringing White Scars. 2. He thought I painted white well when most people don't. 3. No one else is playing them around here. So I've been rebuilding my list for 8th and Marines ver. 2. And I decided to start building a display tray for them.
