I'm pretty pleased with how my Astroath the Grim has turned out. I dont think the edge highlights on the wings show up very well in this pic, but I spent a lot of time on them. 

This is my only non "character" model in my new Blood Angels Captain army (it has 23 characters) but I feel this battle brother was a Captain before he was interred in a dreadnought.  My friend Chase, who is an amazing player, loves my list and is building his own version. However, he's breaking the meme a little bit more and is strategically using a repulsor instead. 0

The second model of my second company of 2nd Edition style Blood Angels is complete. Work has kept me from enjoying  hobby time lately but I was able to finish this Intercessor in my spare time. A recently finished Death Company Dreadnought!  Dreads are one of my favorite things about Warhammer. Nothing exemplifies the setting more than a dead warrior placed in a coffin/battlesuit to continue his service to his God Emperor beyond the grave. My FLGS got an assortment of the new Games Workshop Warhammer 40k Funko Pop! "inaction" figures. Blood Angels - unofficial guardians of java. There is an Ultramarine, Space Wolf, Dark Angel and a Blood Angel. Since there wasn't a Salamander to be found, I chose the Blood Angel to guard my day job's desk top. The little assault guy comes with a signature yellow helmet and inferno pistol to help keep my steady supply of coffee warm - nay "recaf." His hands will hold steady because there isn't a movable limb on the figure.

Since seeing him in action at the Midwest Conquest GT, I decided to add Roboute Guilliman to my forces for the Bug Eater. He's an incredibly intricate model to buy, sand, glue, prime and paint for a tournament. I'd like to spend a lot more time on him, but I'm not ashamed of what I've got here. I'm not quite done but he's well on his way. Also, here's a Flesh Tearer that's nearly done.
