This is Dumbaz, Da Ork in da Iron Mask. I actually hate this model. When I picked it up second hand, it was primed yellow to eventually be painted as an Evil Sun nob. The paint was nice and even so I thought that I could paint over it without stripping it. Oof. That bright yellow turned out to be such a pain to cover up and as a result,  I have gummed up some detail. Plus, it was everywhere! I normally prime models in black or silver but this vibrant yellow was in every nook and cranny. Hard to reach spots shown like a bright, evil sun and painting this lad took twice as long as usual. So, I hate it.

I have a handful of the new GW Orks and this is the first one I've painted. The way it was sliced during the molding process made for some difficult seams to fill, sand and remove but it's a more dynamic mono-pose figure. My Stompa needs a Mekboy to follow it around, so I made this simple conversion from my bits box. Since the GW model is out of stock,  I could only find a mek boy for $60 on eBay and this hobby is expensive enough. This old boy just got a touch-up on his paint job. Just another of my ork repaints for my Death Skulls clan. As you can see from the battle damage to his helmet, he was shot in battle. Luckily, he was hit in the head.

This driver gets it. Road rage - Built Ork Tough. I've never wanted a beater car to paint up more than I do now. I'd have to invest in new brushes though.
