Fidgety Emmet is always borrowing tools and never returning them. I really enjoyed this simple conversion. The body and pole are from a runt herder, the head and banner pole from flash gits (or maybe lootas), the power saw arm from nobs or boyz, and the claw from meganobz. This is my new favorite grot in the batch of gretchen I just finished repainting. These fellows, as the title says, are great for holding down objectives and farming command points. The Midwest ConQuest is one of my favorite local Warhammer 40k Grand Tournaments. I attend (almost) every year and usually have a great time.  Due to the lame-duck status of Warhammer 40k 10th edition, none of my usual gaming friends are going and I'll be flying solo. They just want to, "play with the new rules." It turns out, they are the lame ducks! I was tempted to play my Blood Angels, my strongest tournment army, or perhaps my Salamanders, but I thought that since I dont really have a prayer of winning, I should bring something fun. Nicky Numbers was always good at being a bully and counting; useful skills for a runt herder. I'm getting really excited for these new Ork releases but I'm not sure if grots will have a minder in 11th edition so I put a fresh coat of paint on this lad just in case. I hope they aren't dropped, but there doesn't appear to be a model in the new launch box. If not, this lad gets promoted to Boy. Also, I've never painted a blue squig before...
