The tax man cometh and my shelves are way too full anyway so I've decided to part with my Chaos forces among some other armies like my Eldar and Dark Eldar. My buddy Kyle is interested in my Eldar but the rest of my models are up for sale. Painted Heldrake on eBay New Forgeworld Chaos Greater Brass Scorpion In the next few weeks I'm going to either post my armies on Ebay or get some cash-credit from Frontline Gaming. If anyone here is looking for some of the stuff I've posted about before, drop me a line!

I've been spending more of my time on Instagram lately for my social media needs. I've been fixated on improving my painting skills, rather than writing or playing the game, and I've found that the simple act of taking photos and looking at the model not under my desk lamp has really helped my technique. Also, the feedback from painters of all skill levels has been very helpful and is pushing me to improve my craft. Also, while airbrushing is a great skill, Darren Latham and Duncan Rhodes are my current luminary idols. Latham especially is fantastic at breaking down some steps and his delivery is hypnotic. That being said, here's a recent photo dump of some recent and ancient models in my "portfolio." Is there an app that can cross post directly from Instagram to Blogger? This is El Toro Gigante. The Mad Cow. The Battle Cattle. Daemon Prince of Khorne. This maybe one of my favorite conversions and has served in a number of my chaos armies in both the old world and the grim darkness of the far future.

Chief librarian Boer of the Grey Knights company assigned to the protection of KS-34. I really hope the Grey Knights get a boost in the new Psychic Awakening books. They really only need a conscript unit to use as frontline troops, in my humble opinion. I'd like it to actually be Grey Knight "troops" as opposed to allied Imperial Guard to keep the purity of single codex armies.

Not too long ago, Darren Lathem started his YouTube channel and it's outstanding. Here's his Blood Angel red tutorial. I find watching him hypnotic. He's so calm and explains everything in easy to follow steps. My new favorite painting coach!

A White Scars Sargent races ahead of his unit to launch a lighting-fast attack on his startled foes. The last sound they heard was laughter, inexplicably louder than the roar of an engine.  #paintingwarhammer #whitescars #warhammer40k #grimdark #spacemarines

Here's my first WIP/proof of concept for my blanchitsu style army, the Clockwork Angels that I wrote about in the previous post.  It's a fairly simple conversion with Necron arms and leg, a skeleton head, and an Ad Mech electropriest headband - all without any real sculpting needed. I've been inspired by some Instagram posters and their custom campaigns.
