WIP of my Yncarne model after two painting sessions. It was a tough build but I'm enjoying the painting process. There's something freeing about painting an abstract idea, like an energy construct - there are no rules or painting guide; I'm just kind of going for it and I like how it's turning out. This model broke me. I've been painting and assembling models for more than 30 years and the Yncarne may be the worst. Not to mention the instructions aren't the best.  I mean, I almost want to give up my Eldar... What's the hardest model you've assembled?  #eldar #aeldari

It was a blast to revisit these classic Space Marines for the #90smarinechallenge. Here's my finished battle brother from my favorite chapter, the Salamanders, complete with period accurate base!  At the time, the 'Eavy Metal Salamanders were a much darker green and I suspect that was to make them stand out from the goblin green bases.
